Gig spotter: Ludmilla smashes Coachella and Brazil while wearing DEMOBAZA

The Brazilian pop phenomenon and record-breaking singer was spotted wearing DEMOBAZA clothes and boots on two separate occasions during recent headline shows.

After becoming the most listened-to black artist in Brazil and selling out stadiums in her home country, Ludmilla kicked off her international career with two shows at Coachella wearing DEMOBAZA boots no less. Performing a set of Portuguese-language songs, drawing from the local baile funk sound and pagode (a modern samba), the next great Brazilian superstar has already won a Latin Grammy and became one of the only Afro-Latin women to reach a billion streams on Spotify before coming to Indio’s most famous and prominent stage.

One of her admirers, Beyoncé, also a well-known DEMOBAZA aficionado in the past, recorded a voice note to introduce the show: From Rio to Coachella, ladies and gentleman, Ludmilla! And off it went with the Brazilian popstar dancing in The Source long boots in black from the brand’s autumn-winter women’s collection (available here) – a limited edition and pretty futuristic neoprene high boot with zip closing and a hidden 5 cm platform heel.

The Beyoncé introduction was Ludmilla’s full circle moment of sort, as the Brazilian started her career in her native Rio de Janeiro under the moniker MC Beyoncé. Just weeks after storming Coachella, Ludmilla chose to wear DEMOBAZA once again and uploaded a short reel on Instagram singing her smash hit collaboration with Caio Luccas Saudade da Gente.

On this occasion, Ludmilla sported the Dimension overall from last year’s spring-summer Samadhi collection in vintage washed elastic denim (available here ) – another limited edition Gigeresque overall with multiple pockets, piping and zip closure, that has seen the evolution of DEMOBAZA’s overall silhouette through the years.
